Over 1.5 Lakhs Medical & Sales Representatives Will Observe Country Wide Strike on 23rd August 2012 Demanding
To the Central Government:-
- Statutory code for ethical sales and marketing practices of pharmaceutical companies
- Statutory provisions and stringent action against Pharma corporate corruption
- Cap on all medicine prices
- Statutory working rules for the sales promotion employees
To the State Governments:-
- Effective enforcement of Sales Promotion Employees (Condition of Services) Act 1976including issuing legally amended appointment letters in Form-A as identity of Sales Promotion Employees.
- Remove all executive orders restricting sales promotion activity by sales promotion employees in the Government and private hospitals, institutions.
To the Employers:-
- Stop unethical and illegal sales and marketing practices
- Ensure unrestricted sales promotion activity in work place.
